A Publication TechCrunch presents the advances made by the company in animatronics. What are these; They are usually static robots, designed to entertain the crowds in Disney theme parks.
But the design of some new animatronics models seems to be aimed at creating robots that look more like acrobats. Yes, you read that right, Disney engineers build humanoid robots designed to engage in aerial acrobatics. With the help of guidance laser and built-in accelerometers and gyroscopes, these robots can adjust their position in the air, making perfect flights.
Speaking to TechCrunch, Mr Morgan Pope, a Disney researcher, said that the animatronic movement is not completely realistic but obviously not fake either.
