Minimal Ubuntu distribution with ISO of 150MB

Minimal Ubuntu : By default, almost every Linux distribution comes with tons of extras applications. This may be fine for those who want a system at home or at work, but the specifics distributions they do not make for use as servers, containers, and clouds.

There is the latest version of Ubuntu from Canonical: Minimal Ubuntu.

And when the Canonical mentions Minimal, means Minimal. Ubuntu 18.04 Docker is only 29MB. The minimum Ubuntu ISO, is around 40MB (only the necessary files) , and is intended for people who wish to download packages from the Canonical repositories during installation.

This version can be useful for hobbyists, but Minimal Ubuntu 18.04 Long Term Support (LTS) also works as an efficient container operating system. It enables developers to develop and launch their applications more quickly. The minimal image of Ubuntu is already used as a standard image of the Ubuntu 18.04 LTS ISO Docker Hub.

Why

Because its tiny size allows for boot, better performance and improved stability for cloud developers and system administrators.

That it is small does not mean it is not powerful. It is fully functional and you can add to it the Ubuntu applications you want. Minimum Ubuntu is designed to run completely automated functions.

The documentation, local settings, and other features that are addressed to the Ubuntu Server user have been removed. The operating system contains only the vital components of the boot sequence. However, you can control it remotely, as it has ssh, apt and snapd.
