Chrome 68: New Not Secure Version for All HTTP Pages

Google has released the new Chrome 68 browser for all supported platforms, Windows, Linux and macOS. THE is an important update as it changes the way users are notified of the of web pages using the HTTP protocol.

Chrome 68

From this edition, will report all web pages still using HTTP as Not Secure. The notification will appear in the address bar.

Prior to this release, Google Chrome showed that pages were not secure only when they were using HTTP and were asking the user to provide sensitive information such as passwords or credit card details, for example.

This particular change is just part of a broader plan by Google to make the web more secure. The next major version of the program s Chrome, (the version 69), as we mentioned in previous publication will remove HTTPS, which means that when you open a page with the secure HTTPS protocol, you will not see the green padlock.

Of course, you can download the new version of Google Chrome for Windows, Linux and macOS from the link below.
