Canonical announced the first point release of the operating system Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (Bionic Beaver). The LTS version (from long-term support) will be supported for five years with security and software updates.
Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS is the first of five planned point releases that Canonical plans to release for Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (Bionic Beaver). The update includes all the latest security updates and latest software packages from 26 April 2018 onwards, the Ubuntu 18.04 LTS Release Date.
Unfortunately, the 18.04.1 LTS version does not come with updated kernel.
Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS release is available for λήψη for all official flavors: Kubuntu, Lubuntu, Xubuntu, Ubuntu MATE, Ubuntu Budgie and Ubuntu Kylin. It should be mentioned that the first poin release in version 18.04.1 LTS comes as a Desktop and Live Server version only for 64-bit systems, while all other flavors support 32- and 64-bit systems.
Below you can download the ISO you are interested in only if you intend to make a new installation.
Those who already use 18.04 LTS (Bionic Beaver) can upgrade with the following command on your terminal:
sudo apt Update && sudo apt full-upgrade
