AV-TEST the best antivirus for July of 2018

Security experts from AV-TEST were released the comparative tests they did for 2018 in July. Tests have been performed on various Windows 10 antiviruses to identify the products that are most effective in preventing malware without slowing down your computer.

For July of 2018, three different companies had high-end products in the charts: Avira, Kaspersky and McAfee applications received six out of six in three different protection, performance and usability tests.

Avast Free Antivirus, AVG Internet Security, Bitdefender Internet Security, and Symantec Norton Security were immediately next with a total 17,5 unit rating.

Comodo Internet Security and PC Pitstop PC Matic had the lowest score (15,5) and failed to impress the tests.

It is worth highlighting the performance of Kaspersky Internet Security. Kaspersky's product scored 6 at 6 points in each of the three tests. Kaspersky Internet Security excluded 100% of 0Day malware attacks and detected all malware samples discovered in the last 4 weeks.

But AV-TEST researchers noticed a slight slowdown in Windows 10 systems (21% impact on browsing performance on a standard PC and 16% on high-tech computers).
