For these types of queries, Google brings a new way to quickly access relevant information that will help you have a more global insight into many aspects of themethe one you are looking for. All this with just one search.
So if you are looking for something like "quartz or granite", you will see one panels with a set of relevant information that you can explore.
This new view of results is intended to help you and guide you through common, helpful aspects of a topic. According to Google's announcement at The Keyboard, the new feature comes to help you "have fun through the available information, which aims to deliver more relevant results".
This update is the latest in a series of improvements that Google has made to the machine Search (Google Search).

I do not know about you but personally did something to me by reading that the new feature is aimed at guidance.
