Red Hat has announced a new beta version of the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.x series. The new Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.6 Beta beta release brings security improvements to tools management and in Linux containers.
The company announcement states:
"Using the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 hardware modules, the NBDE capability is expanded to provide two levels of security features in hybrid cloud operations: The network-based mechanism is applied to the cloud, while the use of TPM on site update discs.
To better integrate intrusion prevention measures, Red Hat Enterprise Linux Firewall features have been improved with nftables improvements.
The line tool orders nft can also provide better control. Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.6 beta provides new cryptographic algorithms for the RSA and ECC standards, which help maintain FIPS compliance and remain valid under NIST cryptography standards and by other organizations responsible for managing sensitive information”
