Amazon has just reached the one-billion-dollar mark earlier today. So it became the second US-based company to be worth $ 1 trillion a month after Apple, which touched the 13 number August of 2018.
The stock of the company reached the record of 2.050,50 dollars per share earlier today, which was plenty to pass the 2.050,27 dollar limit needed to overcome the 1 trillion dollar value.
The share price may have retreated, due to the recent international instability in the Stock Exchange, but the markets seem to "like" the company. So it is very likely that the total value of Amazon will exceed the limit of 1 trillion dollars in the coming days.
Amazon is the second US-based company to hit the 1 trillion milestone, and the third international after PetroChina touched the 2007 limit of just one trillion.
