A few days ago we announced the release of Windows 10 Build 17763 in the Fast Ring for the Insiders. Today the Microsoft was released the same build on the Slow Ring. This version only brings bug fixes and does not include any new features.
Basically the development of the upcoming Windows 10 October 2018 Update (version 1809) is over. So all recent releases fix a number of minor issues reported by Insiders.
The new Windows 10 build 17763 includes the following fixes and enhancements:
Fixed an issue for Flash on Microsoft Edge.
Fixed a problem where thumbnails and icons may not appear if video files are stored on the desktop.
Fixed an issue where some Appliances sound Bluetooth had no sound on applications who also use the microphone.
Fixed an issue that led to increased battery usage in specific applications like OneNote.
Fixed a problem in PowerShell where the characters in Japanese did not appear correctly.
Build 17763 still has two known issues:
Task Manager does not report the exact CPU usage.
The arrows to open the Background processes in Task Manager are flashing constantly and strangely.
