The Arch Linux project today released a new ISO snapshot (Arch Linux 2018.10.01) for those who want an updated installation tool for fresh installs of the operating system.
Arch Linux 2018.10.01 contains the 4.18.10 Linux kernel, and includes all the latest software updates and security fixes that have been released throughout 2018 in September.
This means you will not need to download hundreds of updates after installing Linux Linux on a new computer.
Let's recall that Arch Linux is a rolling operating system that follows a roll-out update model. So if the distribution user does the updates, it does not need to install a new version of the operating system.
