Microsoft has taken a very hasty approach to releasing the 1809 version. This version or Windows 10 October 2018 Update was released to the public as a beta build after the company bypassed the Release Preview ring of Windows Insider and released the release as RTM for installation on production computers.
This means that the company completely skipped a test stage, in which the development team essentially approves the build as a stable version.
As it turned out, only fixed was not, and the number of bugs detected by users did not stop appearing in the company's support forums.
Here are some of the most common topics of Window 10 October 2018 Update. No individual reports have been included and imagine that the release has not been released for everyone:
- Cumulative Window Update KB4464330 10 1809 Edition Causes Blue Screen
- Windows 10 October 2018 issues in the filesystem & after the update
- Windows 10 October 2018 Backup & Restore do not work
- Window 10 October 2018 fix the sound
- Window 10 October 2018 disables Windows!
- Microsoft has stopped updating Window 10 October 2018
Again, all of the above are topics that were recently reported and there are users who have not yet installed the new operating system.
At the moment, Microsoft is not talking much about the Windows 10 October 2018 Update fiasco and is probably getting ready for another release. However after all the above if you are interested in the upcoming update it would be good to be careful.
Windows 10 October 2018 Update is undoubtedly an unfortunate moment for Microsoft and we could call the operating system as second Vista (for those who remember his tremendous success).
Do you intend to immediately upgrade your computer to the 1809 version when it is released again?
