If you are a victim of ransomware, the locked files on your computer will have extensions such as .GDCB, .KRAB or another random extension of ten characters in capital letters.

GrandCrab malware is released in three known versions (v1, v4 and v5), which are fully supported by Bitdefender's free decryptor.

More details on the procedure you will need to follow with the GrandCrab ransomware BDGandCrabDecryptTool you can read the instructions Bitdefender or the PDF that exists at the end of the publication.

You should also mention that even if you can retrieve all your encrypted files with BDGrandCrabDecryptTool developed by the Bitdefender team, your computer will remain infected. So after decryption is complete, you should scan your system with an up-to-date and trusted antivirus program.
