Debian 9.6: Available the sixth point release of Stretch

The Debian development team allocated the sixth point of Debian 9. The new Debian 9.6 includes all the latest patches.

So if you have already installed Debian 9 then you do not have to download any of the new ISO, just update your system.Debian 9

“The Debian project is very pleased to announce the fourth update of the Debian 9 stable distribution (codenamed stretch). The point release mainly adds fixes for issues , along with some adjustments for serious problems. The security patches have already been published separately. ”

Some notable packages that have updates for the bugs, included in this release are: clamav anti-virus, cups printing software and debian- which comes with a slightly newer kernel. The flatpak package system has also been updated to a newer version.
