AV-TEST security researchers have published October test results for the best Windows 10 antivirus.
In the results we also saw some surprises to be mentioned below. This survey was conducted in September and October of 2018 and as usual showed our names in the top positions.
For example, Avira Antivirus Pro, Bitdefender Internet Security, BullGuard Internet Security, Kaspersky Internet Security, Microworld eScan Internet Security Suite και το Norton Security της Symantec.
But certainly, one did not expect the applications of the companies BullGuard and Microworld to appear in the first places together with the security companies Kaspersky and Bitdefender. But according to AV-TEST tests, the products of the companies had six points for each of the three tests that evaluate the protection, usability and performance.
The worst performance for the past month was Malwarebytes Premium. The application had 4 degrees in protection, 5 grades in performance and 4,5 degrees in usability. Overall it took 13,5 points.

For Windows Defender now, which is of interest to us all as it comes preinstalled on Windows 10, the performance of the application has been quite impressive. The Microsoft program had a total score of 17 points with 5,5 points for protection, 5,5 points for performance and 6 points for usability.
This is the second time Windows Defender gets close to the top security products on the market, and if it retains it, it could become the only and only Windows security app, which may mean this for other manufacturers.
