The logic "the more Megapixels, the better” is reportedly adopted by Xiaomi after it started advertising a future smartphone with a 48 megapixel camera sensor.
Of course the Chinese company's aim is to beat its P20 Pro Huawei and the Mate 20 Pro that have 40 megapixel camera sensors.
According to one picture published by the president of Xiaomi, Mr Lin Bin on the Weibo page, the smartphone will feature a camera in its upper left corner, along with a dual tone LED flash.
However, the image does not fully reveal the device and there is still no information on the number of camera sensors of the upcoming smartphone.
The publication reports that Lin Bin uses the smartphone a few weeks and considers it not bad!
We will probably see this particular smartphone in January, during CES 2019.
The details of the upcoming smartphone remain unknown. So far we do not know if the company chooses the sensor of Sony IMX586 or Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1. However, both Sony and Samsung sensors are able to achieve 4x digital zoom and have a result of 12 megapixels.
More in January when the official announcement will be released. If until then we do not have a "leak."
