Windows Update again aggressive reboots

What is the most annoying feature of Windows Update? If you were thinking about reboots, Microsoft is preparing you for surprises.

Soon, Windows Update may be able to restart your computer immediately after each instead of waiting for an opportune moment…

Windows Update

It sounds ridiculous, but it's one of the last features which he mentioned ο (@thebookisclosed) on Twitter.
He has mentioned us differently other new features Windows before Microsoft officially announced it, like the Windows Sandbox recently announced. We hope Microsoft only tests this feature, and we will never see it in a "stable" version of Windows.

The good news: Η is optional. If you want, you can with a new setting add notifications that will let you know when Windows will automatically restart your device.

"Windows Update promises to always alert you and give you the opportunity to postpone a reboot."

However, if you are away from your computer for a few minutes, you can go back and see that your computer is in the boot phase because you missed the countdown.

This feature of course confuses us once again. Who asked for it? Windows reboots already quite quickly after updates, using features such as Active Hours to restart when you are not using your computer.

The latest versions of the operating system even use mechanical learning to detect if you are using your computer before rebooting.

Who asked to become more aggressive Windows Update reboots? Even Apple's iPads do not have the aggressive reboot option for automatic updates.

The next big update of the will include a new system tray icon that will notify you when you need to reboot. So there is the above feature probably not needed.

If we finally see this feature, it is likely to be part of the next version of Windows, codenamed 19H1, and is about to be released in April of 2019. We hope until then, Microsoft to change its mind.
