The thriller continues: While Microsoft in theory at least seems to have addressed most of its problems Windows 10 October 2018 Update, the errors continue to appear for some of the company's customers.
There seems to be another bug, this time in support for Windows 10 FLAC files.
According to the postings on Microsoft forumsafter installing Windows 10 October 2018 Update many users found that their operating system no longer supported FLAC files.
The bug reportedly causes errors in the File Explorer which cannot read the metadata of FLAC files, Groove Music and also Windows Media Player.
Users will notice the bug if they upgrade from the previous version of Windows 10 April 2018 Update. Microsoft knows this theme and seems to have already encountered the error on Windows 10 19H1 preview builds.
So maybe the fix will be released in the next Windows 10 October 2018 update.
