TinyPaw Linux 1.3 Light pentesting distribution

TinyPaw Linux is a Tiny Core Linux-based pentesting distribution inspired by the Xiaopan OS project.

It is very light functional and includes some new ones pentesting as well for penetration testing tools that have stood the test of time.

TinyPaw

TinyPaw as mentioned above is based on Tiny Core Linux and although the project is based on a tiny distribution, it continues to grow in MB over time.

Η 1.0 for example released in December 2017 was 294MB in size, while version 1.3 released in October 2018 reached 740MB.

The extra size of course comes from package updates but also the add new penetration testing tools.

The latest version of working TinyPaw appears to be based on Tiny Core Linux 9.0. Boot from Live of the distribution, loads the operating system into RAM, with very high responsiveness. The distribution can comfortably run demanding tasks using only 300MB of RAM.

Those of you who are interested in TinyPaw Linux can check it out official webpage of the project. The downside of the distribution is that it does not have detailed user guides as Wiki in Sourceforge is very limited.
