MX Linux is a Linux distribution based on the Debian firmware, and as you may know, it is one of the distributions we recommend for all, experienced or novice users.
The distribution came from a collaboration between its communities antiX and MEPIS Linux that has ceased to grow.
It uses Xfce as default desktop, and is an operating system that combines an elegant and efficient desktop with simple settings, high stability, stable performance and a minimal footprint.
In short, it's a fairly light distribution that does not sacrifice quality.
Distribution offers a feature that allows you to create an ISO snapshot.
What is this;
Add your operating system along with all of its settings to an ISO image that can be transferred to a DVD or USB drive to reinstall this system!
Yes, another kind of backup.
For those who did not try the distribution, there is a custom ISO below, from the system I use.
Contains all the latest updates, several applications and various DEs (Gnome basic, KDE, Xfce) pre-installed so that you do not have to worry about formatting a new installation.
Among the additional applications I should mention the latest Skypeforlinux, Teamviewer (12), Google Chrome, Opera House, Filezilla, Firefox (64), Pinta, Geany, Slack desktop with, qBittorrent, Nvidia drivers, MX codecs and more so that the distribution works perfectly and with many additional applications immediately after installation.
Other key features:
The system is fully updated with the latest packages in the distribution repositories, and ISO can also be used as Live ISO.
Let me mention that the official ISO is in 1GB, while the custom I uploaded to Google Drive is 2,1 GB (2,284,847,104 bytes).
ISO and md5 for file verification come as a .zip package.
Live ISO screen:
It contains additional files without my personal settings and accounts removed for obvious reasons. So after installing with a few clicks you can have a ready-made system with preinstalled almost everything you need.

George, goodbye, first of all thank you that you went into trouble and you made your own system and you give it to us and I'm glad to be from defaul to xfce because I continue to chat with my friends which is the best (mate, lxle, xfce, gnome, kde) and I only prefer xfce because it is my choice for customization and lightness and I can run it on older hardware. Can you tell me a tool to do my system in .iso to install as a normal distro but also to run live as you did? Thanks
it is not much trouble, MX has its own tool for creating ISO with two options. One is for sharing with others, the other is to create your own clone with all the settings and files it contains. A similar tool also has openSUSE Tumbleweed (only works in btrfs file system).
