Netflix learn foreign languages while watching movies

13/02/2019 14:07 by giorgos

Want to learn a new language but don't have the time? Why not spend some time on Netflix being productive? How would you feel if we told you that you can learn German, Spanish, Japanese etc. while watching Netflix? Using a Google Chrome extension called Language Learning with Netflix, you can now use Netflix as a translator. netflix - Netflix Learn foreign languages while watching movies

Language Learning with Netflix How does it work?

Download the extension, select the subtitle of the language you want to learn while watching the movie you want to watch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMrWX2dlGIM At the bottom of the movie, the dialogues of the language you want to learn will be displayed along with the translation into the language you already speak.

If you now hover over a word, you will see different options (such as how to read a word, etc.). There are some additional features as a bonus. If you are a beginner or intermediate, you can choose the level you are interested in (if you are a beginner, and graying some difficult words the extension will use similar words but easier).

If the words come too fast, you can slow down the subtitles, but the movie will last longer….

It should be mentioned that this is a tool intended for people with some experience in any language. It will be very difficult to start learning a new language as a beginner using only the extension. It is also limited to available Netflix subtitle languages. You can download it Chrome extension from here.
