Ethical Hacking: A 19-year-old Argentinian managed to earn over $1 million by reporting vulnerabilities in online services. Santiago Lopez who uses as a pseudonym @try_to_hack, realized enrollment on the HackerOne bug bounty platform in 2015.
Since then Santiago has reported over 1.670 separate bugs he discovered at companies including: Verizon Media Company, Twitter, WordPress, and Automattic.
Ethical Hacking: The self-taught hacker learned to find bugs, starting "low."
It started with $50 bug fees security type CSRF and managed to earn 9.000 dollars from Server Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerabilities in private programs.
Lopez is now considered one of the top hackers leaderboards of HackerOne with a success rate of 84%.
"I am extremely proud to see my work recognized and valued," said the hacker.
