Canonical today released the ISO of the Ubuntu 19.04 operating system (Disco Dingo) before officially announcing the operating system. The official announcement will take place sometime today.
After six months of development, Ubuntu 19.04 (Disco Dingo) is finally here and you can download it in Desktop and Server versions, as well as all official flavors, Kubuntu, Xubuntu, Lubuntu, Ubuntu MATE, Ubuntu Budgie, Ubuntu Kylin and Ubuntu Studio.
The new version of Ubuntu 19.04 (Disco Dingo) runs on the latest Linux Kernel 5.0 and features some of the latest GNU/Linux software releases, such as the latest versions of the desktop environments GNOME 3.32, MATE 1.22 and KDE Plasma 5.15, the new LibreOffice 6.2 suite and the Browser Mozilla Firefox 66.
Ubuntu 19.04 is a short-lived branch of the Ubuntu Linux operating system, and will be supported by Canonical with software and security updates for nine months through January 2020.
Supports many different 64 bit (amd64) hardware architectures in all flavors except Ubuntu Server, which also supports ARM64 (AArch64), IBM System z (s390x), PPC64el (Power PC 64-bit Little Endian), and Raspberry Pi 2 / ARMhf.
