A new kind of scam threatens to destroy the reputation of your site

A new scam campaign is underway, which targets site owners and states that if they do not make a payment in Bitcoin, the attacker will ruin the site's reputation and blacklist it for spam.

scam

We all know, or should know, that various scam emails are circulating, where the sender may state that he has tampered with the recipient's computer or that he has videotape from his camera to do various strange things while on adult sites etc.

But the imagination of the blackmailers is unbelievable and so from time to time further scams have been created (scam = scam for profit) that pretend to be the CIA, or send threats for bombs and even by professional assassins demanding money to make a deal with them.

In this new variant, scammers use the contact forms of various websites to send messages to the owners of those websites, with the subject of “Abuse and of the website – example.com. My requirements” (Abuse and lifetime blocking of the site – example.com. My requirements).

In the text of the email, the sender states that he will ruin the reputation of the site if he is not paid 0,3 bitcoin (about US $ 2.400).

If left unpaid, the extortionist claims to send millions of emails from your domain, leave nasty reviews on the recipient's site, and send unsolicited messages to other people's contact forms, pretending to be from your domain. All this will be done to ruin the reputation of the site.

Let's see a translation of his message:

Hello. Soon your hosting account and domain xxx.nl will be blocked forever and you will receive tens of thousands of negative comments from angry people.

Here is a list of what you will get if you do not follow my requirements:
+ complaints about aggressive spam web by tens of thousands of users with negative comments
+ comments about you and your website from angry people for aggressive spam
+ its permanent exclusion your account for web and email spam
+ permanently block your domain for aggressive web and email spam
+ thousands of angry complaints from angry users about aggressive web and email spam
+ complaints in the mail and messenger from people that you send them many messages
+ spam will completely destroy your reputation and you will have a loss of customers
+ you will need tens of thousands of dollars for a full recovery from damage

Do you want that?

If you do not want the above problems, then before June 1, 2019, you must send me 0.3 BTC to my Bitcoin wallet: 19ckouUP2E22aJR5BPFdf7jP2oNXR3bezL

How can I do all this to get this result:
1. I will send 30 messages to 13.000.000 sites with offensive messages with contact forms that will have the address of your site, that is, in this case, you, the spammer and the infected people. And they will not care that you are not responsible.
2. I will send 300 messages to 9,000,000 email addresses with very annoying ads that will seem like you want to make money by offering a free iPhone, with your xxx.nl domain address and contact information. I will then send abusive messages to your website address.
3. I will aggressively spam blogs, forums and other sites (basically me there are 35.978.370 sites and 315.900 sites from which you will definitely get a lot of negative comments) from your site xxx.nl. After these spams, spamhouses will turn on her them to you and after many shares your hosting will be forced to ban your account forever. Your domain registrar will permanently block your domain.

Receiving this kind of email is quite scary, especially when someone is threatening your site from which you can make a living.

The important thing is to understand that this blackmailer who sends these emails to many sites is just a scam and that he is not going to make any effort to ruin the reputation of your website.

If you receive one of these emails, just mark it as spam or delete it.
