Facebook Anti-social rules of domination

Facebook, a business that is growing faster than any other until today. It uses the DNA of its founder, only it does not seem to form a character, from the mistakes, self-criticism, and self-awareness that come with age.

In short, it does not seem to mature. Never before has there been any organization with such an influence that resembles its founder. OK, can you think of the Catholic Church?

No. The revelations about child rape mean that it is far from what the founder (Jesus) preached.

Why did I mention the above: Mark Zuckerberg is social, and Facebook has instituted sociopathy. To understand sociopaths, we need to remove empathy, and in general any emotion, nothing. In accordance with Psychology Today:

Sociopathia is an informal term referring to a pattern of antisocial attitudes and attitudes. In the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), sociopathy is most represented by the Antisocial Personality Disorder.
Apart from these, the described as sociopaths may seem disturbed, but they can also show tendencies of care, sincerity and reliability. In fact, they try to manipulate, they often lie, they do not like it, and they have a weak consciousness that allows them to act recklessly or aggressively, even when they know their behavior is wrong.

Does it remind you of anything about Zuck?

As businesses grow and want to preserve their founder's DNA, they often record manuals for the employees they employ. So I suspect there will be a Bible on how to do things on Facebook.

The recipe of Facebook seems to be simple: understand the behavior of the sociopaths, and then according to the Bible you need to strengthen the following characteristics that, according to Psychology Today, will help you enjoy the world (sociopaths, Congress, regulators, the media, citizens):

  • False expressions of love
  • False promises of protection
  • False Understanding (I'm Like You)
  • I am the real victim (although I know victims are the users of the service)
  • Fake imaginary situations (inventing crises that you can fight without problem)

And, of course, no respectable employee manual would be effective without a few examples of behaviors:

False expressions of love

Mark Zuckerberg constantly promises love. It is the key to happiness. Mark wanted to "connect the world" because he loves it. He envisioned a love on a global scale.

When people are connected, we can just do great things. They have the opportunity to gain access to jobs, education, health, communications. We have the opportunity to reach out to the people we care about. This really makes the big difference.
- Mark Zuckerberg, February 2015

[The approach of people is so important that] we will change the whole Facebook mission to achieve it.
- Mark Zuckerberg, June 2017

False promises of protection

There are several privacy options, and users have a very good control over who can see their information.
- Interview Mark Zuckerberg, Harvard Crimson, February 2004

I am determined to make Facebook a leader in transparency and privacy.
- Mark Zuckerberg, 2011

I will seriously do what it takes to protect our community.
- Mark Zuckerberg, March 2018

Your trust is at the core of our services.
- Sheryl Sandberg, March 2018

On Facebook, everything you share is in control.
- Mark Zuckerberg, listening to Congress, April 2018

We do not ship to no one … This is Facebook's most important principle: Every piece of content you share on Facebook is yours, and you have complete control over who sees it and how you share it. You can delete it at any time.
- Mark Zuckerberg, listening to Congress, April 2018

Any information that Facebook may know about you, you can delete it
- Mark Zuckerberg, listening to Congress, April 2018

We have to be better.
- Sheryl Sandberg, repeatedly, 2018-2019

ZUCK: i have over 4000 emails, , addresses, sns
FRIEND: what!? how'd you manage that one?
ZUCK: people just submitted it
ZUCK: I don't know why
ZUCK: they “trust me”
ZUCK: dumb fucks
- Mark Zuckerberg's conversation with a friend of his at Harvard

Facebook

False Understanding (I'm Like You)

I can mention that. I started Facebook to connect my college… We were just college kids. But we were so preoccupied with this idea - that everyone wants to connect. So we kept going, day in and day out, just like you.
- Mark Zuckerberg, June 2017

I am the real victim (although I know victims are the users of the service)

It was a breach of trust between Kogan, Cambridge Analytica and Facebook.
- Mark Zuckerberg for the scandal with Cambridge Analytica, March 2018

Facebook hired a Republican oppositional research firm to discredit activist protesters, partly by linking them to liberal financier George Soros. She risked her business relationship by putting pressure on a Jewish political group to criticize the company as an anti-Semitic.
- New York Times, November 2018

Fake imaginary situations (inventing crises that you can fight without problem)

There is a tremendous need and a huge opportunity to connect everyone in the world, to have everyone their voice and to help transform society into the future. The scale of technology and infrastructure to be built is unprecedented and we believe that this is the most important problem we can concentrate on.
- Mark Zuckerberg, Letter to Shareholders, 2012

While people are interested in the size and strength of technology companies, there is also a concern in the United States about the size and strength of Chinese companies, as well as the notion that these companies will not be dissolved.
- Sheryl Sandberg describing the threat posed by Chinese technology companies to the US

Here to be remembered what Hughes said (co-founder of Facebook) for the social network and Mark:

Η επιρροή του Mark είναι συγκλονιστική, και είναι πολύ πιο πέρα από την επιρροή κάποιου άλλου στον ιδιωτικό τομέα ή την κυβέρνηση. Ελέγχει τρεις βασικές πλατφόρμες επικοινωνίας – το Faceboοk, το and WhatsApp – used by billions of people every day.

Only Mark can decide how to configure Facebook's algorithms to determine what users see in their News Feeds, what privacy settings they can use, and which messages will be delivered. It sets the rules on how to distinguish the hate speech, violence in the discussion, or a simple verbal attack, and can choose to close a competitor by acquiring, blocking or copying.

Mark is a good guy, but I'm angry with him because his focus on growth has led him to sacrifice safety and courtesy for clicks.

There are many who believe that major technology companies are a much greater threat to our society than we believed. Mr Zuckerberg may be intelligent, but he can be seen as one of the most dangerous people in the world. Imagine a company that was created by the image and the likeness of its founder and completely reflects not only the genius but also the shortcomings of this person.

Antisocial behavior in the media is nothing new. The problem is that the algorithm that determines the content read by billions of people is controlled by a social patient who does not seem to want to leave his chair for the next 60 years.
