In Build 2019, the Microsoft announces new Windows Terminal for users of Windows 10. Χθες το βράδυ, το Windows Terminal εμφανίστηκε στο Microsoft Store.
Soon after, Microsoft published an article which confirms the launch of Windows Terminal. For now it's about preview (preview) and from what we understand this will be the first version of a series of test versions, until winter 2019 which Microsoft has set as the deadline for the final version of Terminal 1.0.
New application has many new ones possibilities, such as multi-tab support, support for many settings and configuration options that allow users to customize the appearance of Terminal, and more.
If you are running Windows 10, you can download the Terminal from the Microsoft Store from here. You must be running Windows 10 version 18362.0 to continue the installation from the Microsoft Store. Otherwise it will accept the command but will not proceed with the installation process.
Additionally, once the Microsoft Store sees that you're running an older version, for example 17763.557, it provides you with a key information where it will take you in this link to update your system.
Microsoft has this program as open source so you can head to GitHub and contribute to the development of the application.
