Krita 4.2.2 Open Source image editing application

The developers of the powerful, , open source digital painting software Krita have just released Krita app version 4.2.2.

The new 4.2.2 version has not been announced yet on the official site of the app but you can see what it offers.

The Krita app is an editor which uses the Qt 5 and KDE 5 framework.

Krita is designed as a fairly advanced digital painting application. Krita 4

Cross application has been affected to some extent by closed software such as Corel Painter and SAI. The application packs with some basic features some different features from most applications of its kind, including the ability to work with both bitmap and vector illustration.

Application developers are also trying to simplify user interaction and focus on features that are more relevant to painting and drawing.

Krita is a free software distributed under the GNU General Public License (2 version). Originally released as part of the 1.4.0 KOffice edition, 21 June 2005.

The program can run in Windows environments (released in Windows Store), Linux, and Mac OSX for both the x64 or x86 architectures.
