Windows 10 1809 cumulative update KB4505658

Microsoft has released a new cumulative update for Windows 10 version 1809 that fixes too many bugs.

One of them was shutting down the Internet while dragging tabs, while another prevented newly installed applications from appearing in Windows search results.

Windows 10

The update is listed as “2019-07 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 version 1809 (KB4505658)” and contains no fixes .

With the circulation of information KB4505658, Windows 10 version 1809 will upgrade the build number to 17763.652.

Microsoft on the update page reminds:

You can control when you'll receive a feature update while keeping your devices up to date. The features available for eligible devices will appear in a separate section on the Windows Update page (Settings > Update & security > Windows Update).
If you want to get an available update right away, select Download and Install Now.

Of course the reminder applies to all those who have not upgraded to the latest "fixed" version of Windows 10, for their own good of course.

Those of you who are interested in learning about the latest Microsoft Update can visit its announcement page KB4497934.

In addition to the long lists of fixes that the update brings, the company page also mentions the "known problems for this update" or "Known issues in this update".

Finally, before upgrading your system, keep a backup in case everything does not go as planned. You never know or save Windows to have half.
