Microsoft officially withdraws MSDN magazine

Microsoft has announced that MSDN Magazine will stop publishing at the end of this year, three decades after the first issue of of the day.

MSDN

MSDN Magazine originally started as two different magazines called Microsoft Systems and Microsoft Internet Developer, and which merged in 2000 under the name MSDN.

While Microsoft has not provided too many details about why it will withdraw MSDN magazine, the company says it is making that decision because its services have expanded significantly.

Subscribers will get their money back
The company states: “As Microsoft products and services have expanded exponentially over the years, MSDN Magazine has had its own evolution. We realized that it was time to retire from MSDN Magazine and continue its work through online channels such as docs.microsoft.com ".

All the content that developers need is now available at docs.microsoft.com and Microsoft recommends to all who seek to go to this large collection of documents.

Microsoft states that all active subscribers will receive a refund based on the time remaining. Returns will be shipped after the November issue, and Microsoft recommends that subscribers contact the company using the contact details found on this page.
