Windows 10 19H2 new tests: Microsoft starts testing an adjustable update delivery system that it intends to use for the upcoming feature update of Windows 10 19H2. This build appears in Windows Update on those who are registered in Windows Insider, as long as they watch the Release Preview ring. If you are watching the distribution channel you can upgrade manually.
This version has a build number of 18363.327 and Microsoft explains that uses the same approach as in Slow Ring, which means that the new features will only be enabled for selected users.
This method is part of the company's testing system, as it gradually promotes new features to Insiders to determine their reliability.
"Insiders in the Release Preview ring currently upgrading to 19H2 Build 18363.327 will not see all of the 19H2 features of the Slow Ring, as not all features have been integrated," said Dona Sarkar, head of Windows Insider at Publication on the company's blog.
"Due to differences in the way 19H2 updates are packaged between the Slow and Release Preview rings, Insiders in the Slow Ring will not be able to switch to the Release Preview ring and receive updates. Insiders who are thinking of changing the ring should stick to what they have for the time being. We will let them know when they can change. ”
According to Microsoft's standard release schedule, Windows 10 19H2 is scheduled to be finalized next month and will then be rolled out from October through Windows Update.
