The VPN Gate (Academic Experiment Project) is an online service launched as an academic research at the Graduate School of the University of Tsukuba in Japan.
The purpose of this research is to extend the knowledge of "Global Public VPN Relay Servers".
Why VPN Gate?
The advantages of VPN Gate:
You can bypass government firewalls and browse restricted sites (e.g. YouTube).
You can hide your IP address to hide your identity while browsing the Internet.
You can protect yourself using strong encryption while using public Wi-Fi.
Unlike traditional VPN services, VPN Gate can pass through most firewalls.
The service is free and no registration is required.
