Microsoft today announced Secured-core PCs. According to company will be the most secure Windows 10 devices out of the box, and will have secure built-in hardware, firmware, software and identity protection.
Windows OEM manufacturers must meet the very stringent security requirements listed by Microsoft to obtain this certification.
These new Secured-core PCs are aimed at people who work with highly sensitive data in industries, government, or financial services.
Features of Secured-core PCs:
Secured-core computers use hardware rooted security on modern CPUs to boot the system securely, preventing any advanced malicious software to hack the system and attack at the firmware level.
Once the CPU runs safely, the operating system takes control. Hypervisor enforced code ensures that all code at the core of the operating system is reliable.
Users can then sign in securely with Windows Hello 2. Credential Guard ensures that identity credentials and domain isolated and protected in a secure VBS environment.
Microsoft's Secured-core PCs will be availableι από διάφορους κατασκευαστές OEM των Windows, όπως οι εταιρείες Dell, Dynabook, HP, Lenovo, Panasonic και Surface. Μπορείτε να μάθετε περισσότερα από το παρακάτω link:
