The news broke last night version of WordPress 5.3! Named “Kirk” in honor of jazz artist Rahsaan Roland Kirk.
The WordPress 5.3 Kirk version expands the capabilities and improves the existing block processor. New processor capabilities enhance design capabilities, provide additional design options and style variations that give designers more control over the look of a website.
This release also brings the theme of Twenty Twenty giving the user more design flexibility with the block processor.
This update brings over 150 new features and improvements, including improved large image support for uploading unoptimized, high-resolution photos taken from smartphone your or other high quality cameras. If you are an admin and do not visit the site, the new version will periodically email you to confirm your email address. This will reduce the risk of being locked out if you change your email address.
