There are many ways (we have reported from time to time) to download the official ISO images of Windows 10. Today we will see a PowerShell Script called Fido that will help you easily download any Windows ISO you are looking for.
Fido is an open source tool code released by the developer of the well-known app Rufus.
Fido script is included in the application code Rufus and is the tool used to download Windows ISO images directly from Microsoft's official servers.
How to use Fido
Visit her GitHub page and right-click on archive Fido.ps1 and select "Save Link As" to download it to your computer.
Of course you can open the Script in the browser you use as well copy paste to create your own script with notepad + +.
When you have the script on your computer do not try to open it with a double click, because it will probably open with notepad. Right-click on it and select "Run with PowerShell". or open a PowerShell window and open the script with drag h drop.
First you will see a "Please Wait ..." window that automatically closes after a few seconds and opens a new one called Fido - Retail Windows ISO Downloader.
You can download ISO of Windows 8.1 or Windows 10. Select what you want to download and click Continue. The tool will show you different versions of Windows to choose from. Select the one you want and click Continue.
The script will ask you to select the version that you want to download. If you want to download an ISO of Windows 10 you will have to choose between the Home, Pro or Education editions. Next, you should select the desired language and then the architecture (x64 or x86).
Press the download button. A new tab will open in your browser and the download will begin image ISO you selected.
Windows 10 LTSB ISO is not supported by Fido.
That was my take, and I don't know how to allow the script to run
