LG will present at CES 2020 the first indoor device gardening with Wi-Fi. You will be able to grow your own vegetables and monitor them through your mobile phone.
According to LG it will be a refrigerator-like machine like her left device photos. It will be able to grow lettuce, rocket, basil and other plants by combining outdoor conditions, indoor LED lighting, air circulation and fine-grained control of irrigation water.
All you'll need to do is plant seeds in compost and peat and monitor your crop through an app for cell phones. As LG says even a "complete beginner" could grow a garden with this device.
The device has enough space for 24 packages of seeds. LG stated that it is enough to satisfy a family of four, although it did not specify the criteria used. It can vary depending on how you grow up and how important meat plays in your diet.
LG didn't say when the indoor gardening machine would be available or how much it would cost. It will however be made to be intended and match her other kitchen appliances companys.
Logically, the device is intended for people who either can not have their own outdoor gardens, such as the residents of apartment buildings, or want to switch to a plant-based diet without the hassle of uprooting weeds or digging the soil.
