Like every month, Microsoft uses the established Patch Tuesday to resolve vulnerabilities of its software. Of course as you already know, except for security updates. Patch Tuesday also includes cumulative updates.
All versions of Windows 10 will install cumulative updates tomorrow, including the latest November 2019 Update (version 1909). This version was released in late 2019, so the Windows 10 November 2019 Update is still available on devices from Microsoft gradually. Users can install the latest Windows 10 update automatically from Windows Update, or traditionally from an ISO image released by Microsoft.
However, it's worth mentioning that Windows 10 Home and Pro editions only receive cumulative updates if they're running version 1809 (October 2018 Update) and some newer (version 1903 and 1909). Previous versions are only updated if they are Enterprise or Education SKUs, or if they use an LTSC package for extended updates.
Updates released every Patch Tuesday are recommended to be installed immediately as they are heavily patched security gaps in the operating system.
The main concern, on the other hand, is that cumulative updates usually cause serious problems after installation. So after installations of cumulative updates have been observed damaged Windows 10 features, bad network connectivity or too many errors in applications. With all that has happened in the past, it might be best to wait until the reliability of the update is established.
Front cliff and back stream.
As usual, we will monitor these updates and report any issues that may occur during or after their installation.
