Mathesis Introduction to Java (New free course)

08/02/2020 08:52 by newsbot

Mathesis courses are offered for free and so will stay. You can watch them to the end and take part in the weekly tests and the final exam. In most courses, however, you will be asked for a small fee - of the order of € 20 - for the issuance of the certificate of successful attendance, provided of course you are entitled to it having secured the required minimum performance of 50%.

For the unemployed the certificate is issued free of charge.

Java has remained the most popular programming language for 25 years. Oriented to the World Wide Web to give "traffic and interaction" to the static web pages of that time is a purely object-oriented programming language that succeeds and remains the focus of interest for both desktop and web applications or smart devices.

If you want to learn how to write programs in the programming language that "runs" on billions of devices in the world, then this course is for you. You will learn the basic concepts of object-oriented programming, for the latest versions of the language, but also what to look out for in order to write correct and safe programs.

The course lasts 5 weeks and does not require prior knowledge or programming experience. It covers introductory elements of the Java language, which is considered one of the most suitable for first contact with programming. The course also covers the basic concepts of object-oriented programming, language data structures, file usage and database communication, and includes a number of examples and step-by-step exercises.

Its monitoring includes the elaboration of 2 assignments that are submitted for evaluation. The student who completes this course will be able to program in Java and solve interesting practical problems, such as retrieving / storing information in databases and creating simple games.

The cost of the certificate in the specific course will be 30 € - higher than the 20 € required in other courses - because in this there will be the additional cost of correcting the final work by the teacher and his assistant.
