A new developer snapshot of the proletterof tours Vivaldi brings additional options to securely protect your privacy.
Today's version 2.12.1838.3 includes Tracker Blocker, as well as some improvements made in mode Spatial Navigation.
Vivaldi started out as an app with the promise of giving you a highly customizable, fully functional, cutting edge Browser. It seems that the developers are trying to keep their promises, as there is currently no other browser on the market that offers so many options and features.
Vivaldi app is built by Chrome engine, target users are power users. THE traveler Vivaldi was created by the former co-founder of the Opera app and developed with the usability and power of the Opera browser in mind.
Vivaldi is now working with DuckDuckGo and uses the DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials extension list. This list excludes most of the well-known ones Trackers, χωρίς να παρουσιάζει problems display on websites. It is based on DuckDuckGo Tracker Radar, which crawls the web constantly searching for and tracking trackers on important sites.
This feature is not enabled by default in this dev snapshot, so you will need to enable it to try it. Visit a website and click the new shield icon to the left of the URL to disable tracking of a website.
The new application also brings another new option in Settings - Privacy - Content Blocker - Tracking Blocker. Enable Block Tracker on all sites to enable it by default on the entire web.
This will allow you to use the shield icon to disable (or enable) site tracking.
In addition to the above, Vivaldi has added another feature called "Spatial Navigation". Allows the user to browse websites with his keyboard by holding down "Shift" and using the arrow keys. If you want to try out the new Spatial Navigation, you can enable it from: Settings - Webpages - Spatial Navigation.
