Google has just released a new update to Chrome, fixing four different browser vulnerabilities across all supported desktop platforms.
With this update, Google Chrome has reached version 80.0.3987.132 at Windows, Linux and Mac and because the installation is done gradually, you can update manually by downloading the standalone installer immediately from here.
Google is releasing the new version gradually and it may take a few days or weeks for everyone to get the update.
As mentioned above, this Chrome update includes four different security fixes, but the company has not mentioned them yet for obvious reasons. We will have more details when the majority of users have installed the update and there will be no immediate risk.

"OR access on bug details and links may remain limited until the majority of users are updated with the fix. We will also maintain restrictions if the bug exists in a third-party library that other projects depend on, but has not yet been fixed," Google said.
What we do know, however, is that this update resolves one security gap of seriousness referred to in CVE-2020-6420 and was discovered by researcher Taras Uzdenov. Google reports that vulnerability was reported on February 11, and the investigator received $1.000 for his disclosure to the security team.
“We would also like to thank all the researchers better safetys who cooperated with us during duration of this development cycle and helped prevent security bugs from reaching the stable channel,” Google says.
It goes without saying that everyone who uses the Google browser is advised to update their application as soon as possible.
