The beta version also includes GNOME 3.36 which comes with a lot of performance improvements.
“In the new Fedora 32 Workstation Beta EarlyOOM is enabled by defaultchoice. The EarlyOOM feature allows users to quickly regain control of their system in low memory situations with heavy swap partition usage.
Fedora 32 Workstation Beta also has the fs.trim timer enabled by default, which improves performance and wear balance on SSDs.
Fedora 32 Workstation Beta includes comes with GNOME 3.36, the latest version of the GNOME desktop, which features many performance improvements. GNOME 3.36 has a “Do Not Disturb” button for alerts, improved parents controls and Virtualisation, along with new tweaks to Settings.
