Google COVID 19 Public Datasets free for everyone

Last night the company unveiled an open repository of data (COVID 19 Public Datasets) related to the virus and includes in addition to Google data, data from the Johns Hopkins Center for Systems Science and Engineering (JHU CSSE), Global Health Data from the World Bank and OpenStreetMap data.

All of these free databases will have a “COVID-19” tag for differentiation and ease . they will remain free and accessible until September 15th.

Researchers can also use BigQuery ML to advanced AI models for any research related to COVID-19. BigQuery ML is Google's service that allows developers to build and run machine learning through simple SQL queries against the company's data repository in the Cloud.

The pandemic has prompted AI researchers and AI companies to try to help find cures. Last month, tech companies from the Baidu and Alibaba provided researchers with various AI models to speed up the process in virus-related studies.

Earlier this month, the Allen AI Institute teamed up with various research teams to create an open dataset on CORD-19, adding thousands of research papers and articles on the disease.
