Canonical released the latest version of Ubuntu a few hours ago. The company just added distribution to Microsoft Store for Windows 10 users who want to install it on their system.
Ubuntu 20.04 LTS comes with many additions and security enhancements, such as Secure Boot για προστασία από επιθέσεις χαμηλού επιπέδου και rootkit.

Another notable addition is the WireGuard VPN, which is pre-installed on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, but will also support the 18.04 LTS distribution version, according to Canonical.
Of course, anyone can upgrade to the latest version of Ubuntu manually, but the Microsoft Store version makes it much easier for users using the Windows Subsystem for Linux to install it.
The Windows Subsystem for Linux, or WSL, allows users to run a Linux distribution on top of Windows 10, and Microsoft has managed to make significant improvements to the existing application με την πάροδο των ετών. What you should know is that Ubuntu 20.04 from the Microsoft Store cannot be installed on Windows 10 in S mode (Windows 10 S). This particular version of the Microsoft operating system is limited to installing applications from the Microsoft Store only, but the Ubuntu distribution is not currently supported.
