What are Deskthemepack files? Let's start upside down: Fire Theme is a nice package of wallpapers available for Windows users. Includes 8 stunning fire photos to decorate your desktop.
Microsoft has the theme in * .deskthemepack format (see below) and can be installed with one click.
Photographer Marc Schroeder captures the glow of fire in vivid red, orange and gold motifs. All images have the owner's watermark.

If you have installed many issues and you no longer need them, you can delete custom themes installed manually or from the Store.
With the release of Windows 7, Microsoft has introduced a new theme format, the themepack. It was created so that all the resources of a theme are packaged in a single file, making themes much easier to use.
In Windows 8, the file format was updated to deskthemepack. Windows 10 supports both theme packaging formats. Technically, themepack and deskthemepack are usually ZIP or CAB files that contain images but also the corresponding *.theme text files that have all the names of the images present in the theme.
Those interested can export the images directly from such files by right-clicking export. This may be useful for Windows 7 users, as the older operating system does not support * .deskthemepack * files.
An alternative for Windows 7 is the free application Deskthemepack Installer, an application that allows you to install Windows 10 and Windows 8 themes on Windows 7 with one click. However you will not need this you can easily export the images.
