Kali Linux is a distribution based on Debian. It contains a very large collection of tools security and penetration tests.
The project just released a new one version for the year 2020 and brings a number of important changes. The new version, 2020.2, of Kali Linux merges the various desktop editions into a single download option and removes the ability to run various as root by default.
"The latest version makes it easier for them users access PowerShell, update topics about KDE Plasma and the size requirements for the distribution's ARM-build SD cards have been increased from 8 GB to 16 GB.”
“A while ago, we put PowerShell in the Kali Linux network repository. This means that if you wanted PowerShell, you had to install it packet once with “sudo apt install -y PowerShell”. We have now put PowerShell in one of our (primary) metapackages, Kali-linux-large. This means that if you choose to install this metapackage during system setup or when your Kali distribution is up and running (sudo apt install -y kali-linux-large), if PowerShell is compatible with your architecture, you can go straight to it (pwsh). PowerShell is no longer in the default metapackage (Kali-linux-default).
