Microsoft has released a new one preview build of Windows 10 for those enrolled in program Windows Insider and it seems the company has included a new feature, which was probably expected.
This is DNS over HTTPS (DNS over HTTPS), a security feature requested by Insiders to protect Windows 10. The company is said to be testing the help with Windows internal computers before releasing it to everyone at some point in future.
"If you were expecting to try DNS over HTTPS (DoH) in Windows 10, you are in luck: the first trial is available for Windows Insiders! If you've been wondering what DoH is all about, then you should know that this feature will change the way your device connects to the Internet and is in the early stages of testing, so only go ahead if you are sure you are ready. ", Says Microsoft.
Instructions for those who want to try the new security feature are available from the company here.
Another change brought by Windows 10 build 19628 concerns the builds in the Fast ring of the Windows Insider program.
More specifically, Microsoft is testing a new channel (MN_RELEASE) with this release, and the company says it's part of an experiment to determine the reliability of the channel that usesfor active development.
The new version as we mentioned yesterday seems to fix many known issues. Read more at yesterday's publication.
