The application Transmission, is one of the most popular BitTorrent client for OS X and Linux operating systems.
The news is that the traditional UNIX application was released for Windows about a decade after its first release.
The open-source file sharing application, developed by volunteers, does not run ads, boasts a small footprint (approximately 25MB for Windows), supports encryption, a web interface so you can view your downloads remotely through your browser , and allows you to set different speed limits on each individual torrent.
The new version of the application Transmission was released today on all supported platforms, Linux, MacOS and Windows.
