openSUSE Leap 15.2 Build 665.2 Release Candidate

Douglas DeMaio announced that the latest development snapshot, build 665.2, has been nominated for the upcoming release version 15.2 (release candidate) scheduled for release on July 2, 2020:

"The release candidate marks the freezing of development in software packages. Some of the packages that are expected to change in the new release are the long-term-support version of KDE Plasma 5.18, GNOME in version 3.34 and Xfce in version 4.14. A new package for artificial intelligence and data scientist will be released.JustLeap - openSUSE Leap 15.2 Build 665.2 Release Candidate

The release will also include the Sway tiling Wayland compositor, which replaces the i3 window manager for the X11.
The dnf package manager relies on version 4.2.19 again, but brings many fixes and improvements. ”

This development snapshot is available (mirror list) in ISO DVD and NET install format.

Net Install iso is much smaller in size because it contains only the files needed to start the installation (boot and installer). All other files needed will be downloaded from the internet during installation.
