Google has released Android Studio 4.0, adding a number of new features to the application development environment.
The most impressive of the upgrades is an additional Motion Editor, a interface Android For the creation MotionLayout animations in applications. In previous versions of Android Studio, developers had to manually create and modify complex XML files to draw animations and characters.
New motion editor creates XML files for developers, allowing them to create complex animations pictures through a very simple interface.
Google also added new ways to control the design of an app. There is an improved Layout Inspector, which displays a live preview of the application design in 3D and an improved layout validation, which gives a picture of the user interface in multiple screen dimensions.
Further improvements include a Build Analyzer that helps troubleshoot errors in builds of the application, a redesigned CPU Profiler and Java 8 APIs.
