PrivacyBreacher is an open source Android app built to show you privacy issues on every device using its software Google.
The application was developed based on the Privacy Issues in Android article that you can find here.
The application is compatible with any device running Android 9 or later and does not require additional permissions. In fact, it is designed to show you what data your device applications can access without requiring additional permissions.
You can launch the app after installation and you will see a basic UI with three buttons. The first, Physical Activity Monitor, shows how any app on your device can use the phone's sensors to monitoring direction, movement speed and others using additional sensors such as gyroscope, accelerometer or magnetometer.
The next button is called Phone Activity Monitor and monitors certain events on the device, e.g. when the charger was plugged in, if the monitor was off, when the phone was unplugged from the charger, or when it was plugged in or a computer using USB.
The third button is called Phone Information and displays information about what any app does when installed on a device:
List of all installed applications.
Mobile and Wi-Fi data used since last boot.
Uptime of the device.
Brand name of the device, name, κατασκευαστής, ώρα και ημερομηνία κατασκευής.
