PrivacyBreacher monitor your Android device

PrivacyBreacher is an open source Android app built to show you privacy issues on every device that Google's software.

The application was developed based on the Privacy Issues in Android article that you can find here.

The application is compatible with any device running Android 9 or later and does not require additional permissions. In fact, it is designed to show you what data your device applications can access without requiring additional permissions.

Μπορείτε να ξεκινήσετε την εφαρμογή μετά την εγκατάσταση και θα δείτε ένα βασικό UI με τρία κουμπιά. Το πρώτο, Physical Activity Monitor, δείχνει τον τρόπο με τον οποίο οποιαδήποτε εφαρμογή της συσκευής σας μπορεί να χρησιμοποιεί τους αισθητήρες του τηλεφώνου για την παρακολούθηση της κατεύθυνσης, της ς κίνησης και άλλων χρησιμοποιώντας επιπλέον αισθητήρες όπως το γυροσκόπιο, το επιταχυνσιόμετρο ή το μαγνητόμετρο.

The next button is called Phone Activity Monitor and monitors certain events on the device, e.g. when the charger was connected, if the was off, when the phone was disconnected from the charger, or when it was connected to a power outlet or a computer using USB.

The third button is called Phone Information and displays information about what any application does when it is installed on a device:

List of all installed applications.
Mobile and Wi-Fi data used since last boot.
Uptime of the device.
Brand name of the device, , manufacturer, time and date of manufacture.

The above information may seem harmless to you, but it could be used for or other tracking methods.
