Η version 5.4.2 of the WordPress web app fixes some themesecurity and solves 23 problems.
The new version was released late last night and fixes five security issues affecting the WordPress app since version 5.4 and earlier versions. Version 5.4.2 fixes them so you should update immediately. If you're not on 5.4 yet, they're rolling out updates and for versions from tin 5.3 and earlier, which fix the same security issues.
The security gaps that were fixed are three XSS, one open redirect and one in set-screen-option that could lead to privilege escalation.
In addition to the above, the new version also fixes 22 bugs that existed in core files as well as in the default themes. For more see it note.
